Partnership to scale sustainable dyeing innovations
The textile industry is one of the biggest polluters on the planet, generating 3% of global CO2 emissions, and the 2nd largest cause of industrial global wastewater pollution.
Alchemie Technology Ltd., Cambridge/UK, has partnered with Acatel – Textile Finishing S.A., Gilmonde/Portugal, to enhance its jet precision dyeing technology for knitted cellulosic fabrics. This collaboration will focus on a 12-month research and development program to prepare the innovative, fully electric, and non-contact dyeing system for large-scale manufacturing.
